Meet Coach Andy

As a practicing pediatrician for the past 25 years in Charlotte, North Carolina, I have been able to be a part of children’s lives and their families through countless experiences. Fortunately, I rarely take care of truly sick kids anymore. It is incredibly rare that I actually need to hospitalize a child for illness. However, I am taking care of more and more anxious families. It is this growing anxiety among our children and, especially their parents, that has brought me into Life Coaching.

Individual Coaching

Coaching is about getting you to meet your own individual goals. Coaching will encourage and push you to evolve as a person to maximize your own internal expectations and break through barriers to meet your full potential.

Joint Parent Coaching

If only parenting came with a guide! As we bring our most cherished gifts into this world, our children, we realize we have no experience in how to do it. We are left with what we saw as children and instinctively fall back on what our parents did, both good and bad. As individuals, we may fall back on very different experiences and styles. Learning to create our own style and our own goals for our own family brings power, joy, and a true sense of fulfillment.

One of my strengths as a coach is anticipating issues before they arise. This allows families to smoothly and confidently transition through each phase of life.

Group Coaching

One of the greatest benefits of working in groups is to realize you are not alone. Being a parent is unique for everyone, but the patterns of life are very similar. Having people that you can work with creates a sense of community and strengthens our ability to cope, provide, and grow our families. Bringing friends or even acquaintances together with children of similar ages is a wonderful way to go through the coaching program.

Organizational Speaking

As a multiple award winning pediatrician in Charlotte for over 25 years, I've had the pleasure of being asked to give presentations at churches, youth groups, teaching seminars and preschools.
